Andrew has been working in the mental health field since 2002. He completed his undergraduate studies in psychology at UCLA and his graduate studies in clinical psychology at San Francisco State University. He received training at the San Francisco State University Psychology Clinic, San Francisco Unified School District, Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, and The Maple Counseling Center.
Andrew has spent over twenty years providing psychotherapy and counseling to children, adolescents and young adults in school and university settings, including at the University of Southern California, St. Francis High School, and Campbell Hall School. He has also held a private practice since 2009.
Andrew provides individual, couples, and family therapy, with a specialty in adolescent and young adult mental health. In addition to being licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences, he has certifications in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Grief Counseling, and Critical Incident Stress Management. He also has extensive experience teaching and coaching in areas of mental wellness and social emotional learning.
